The first time I tried on a piece borrowed from a friend, something clicked — not the hardware, but the feeling. The weight of it. The intent behind it. I was hooked, but the market kept locking me out with sizes that assumed one kind of body.

So I did what designers do. I made my own. Puto.Co was born from that decision — not from a business plan, but from a refusal to be excluded from something I loved. Every piece I build carries that same refusal. No standard sizing. No compromises. Just gear that was made for your body, exactly as it is.

We don't believe in "near enough." At Puto.Co, the goal is a perfect fit. Because every body is a unique blueprint, our commission process is designed to eliminate doubt and guarantee a flawless silhouette.

THE DIALOGUE & CONCEPT PHASE

Every build begins with a conversation. We discuss your vision, the intended tension of the piece, and your specific requirements. During our consultation—whether online or a Manchester studio meet-up—I will showcase previous designs to help define the aesthetic direction. Once we align on the vision, I create a design concept for your final approval. This visual representation ensures we are in total agreement before a formal quote is issued. Upon your sign-off, a 50% deposit secures your place on the bench and initiates the build.

THE BESPOKE FITTING

A perfect fit starts with understanding your body. To make sure your gear sits exactly as it should, we'll do a dedicated fitting session together. We can do this through a real-time video call where I'll walk you through every measurement, or you can come down to my Manchester studio for a personal session. This isn't just about numbers—it's about making sure the leather moves with you like a second skin.

THE DESIGN & PROTOTYPE PROTOCOL (THE PRE-FIT)

For complex or high-precision gear, we don't cut your leather immediately. Our process begins with the Pre-Fit Phase: we create precise templates and structural mock-ups using card paper or rigid foam to define the silhouette and hardware placement. Once the design is perfected, we translate these forms into a physical fitting sample in fabric or faux leather. This prototype is shipped to you to test the drape, the hold, and the comfort, ensuring the final leather masterpiece is flawless.

THE FINAL EXECUTION & TECHNICAL ARTISTRY

Once you confirm the prototype is perfect, we translate those precision adjustments to the final hide. Your gear is hand-folded and made using premium chrome-tan leather and industrial metalwork. With our integrated Laser Technology, we now offer an unmatched layer of customization: from intricate design cut-outs (such as motifs or paw prints) to high-definition engraving. We can permanently etch personalized drawings, emblems, or patterns directly into the leather grain, ensuring your piece is a one-of-a-kind signature of your authority.

THE RELEASE & FINAL FIT

Once the final balance is settled via your secure payment link or bank transfer, your gear reaches its final destination. We offer tracked, discreet, and unbranded shipping worldwide for total privacy. Alternatively, you may choose to collect your piece directly from our Manchester studio. For studio collections, we provide a final fitting session where any minor technical adjustments can be made on-the-spot, ensuring your gear is perfectly calibrated for its first session.
